We have friends that make date night a high priority once a week with their significant other, whether its Taco Tuesday, Monday Sushi or even Sunday Brunch. This is one commitment that I can get on board with! So we’ve been trying to get better about a dedicated weekly time for just us.
Recently, Ryan surprised me with a pretty fancy spread of my favorite Fresh Market goodies and we had dessert and champagne first! Then we headed out to Osaka for some sushi, also my favorite!
I decided to don one of my classic Lilly’s for the night which also happens to be Ryan’s favorite. He’s a sucker for seersucker y’all! (same dress, different color here)
I couldn’t forget to add in my Lilly sunnies (similar here) that my mother-in-law gifted me many years ago! The tortoise and classic shape with bamboo side design have just made them a classic staple in my wardrobe.
I love pairing this dress with my classic Moon and Lola monogram necklace and my Jack wedges (similar here) too.
Ryan always finds it quite hilarious when I ask him to take pics of me in my outfits, so I made him step up to the plate this time and do a “his” version. This may or may not have been my favorite part of the night!
Oh and did I mention that where we went for dinner is also right beside our local Richmond Lilly store, Pink Palm? Now do you see why it’s my favorite sushi nearby?
Refreshing food and fizzy cocktails made for a great night! We went big this time around, but next time Netflix and popcorn (for dinner) is calling our name.

Also, starting tomorrow we’re off to a weekend of fun (with muh bestie boo Sam) and wedding celebrations in Boston and the Cape! I’m so excited!!!!!!! Stay tuned for details and send me your restaurant/activity/must see recos too!
